Glass, Bill	CDR	1985 – 1987	XO	GLOVER was the best tour I had in the navy. It was a great ship, with a great CO, great crew and great schedule.
Thompson, Jerome	BT2	1985 – May 29, 1987	Engineering-Propulsion	Enjoyed my time aboard Glover. Got to work with a great bunch of SNIPES in the fireroom. Nothing can beat the feeling of looking over the side at your waiting family after a 6 month cruise and seeing your girlfriend standing beside your wife !!!

The CO, CDR Dave McCullough was a tremendous leader, and a Public Affairs Officers dream.
