1. It does not accept my service dates during the registration.

The reason for this problem is usually that you already have an account. Please check your command’s crew list if you are already on there

2. Why does the registration code not show up?

Sometimes it might happen that the validation code - which is part of the registration - does not show up. If this is the case, please try to reload the page. In most of the cases this solves the problem. If you are still not able to view the code, you can also send your information to the Webmaster and your account will be created manually. Please include all information that you would have entered during the registration. You will later receive an email with your login information.

3. I entered the registration code but I only get an error message.

Sometimes it might happen that the validation code - which is part of the registration - contains characters that might be mixed up. If this is the case with your code, please try to reload the page until you get an "easy" code. In most of the cases, this solves the problem and the registration will be accepted. If you still get the error message although you believe the code was entered correctly, you can also send your information to the Webmaster and your account will be created manually. Please include all information that you would have entered during the registration. You will later receive an email with your login information.

4. I just registered but I don’t see my entry on the crew list.

In order to have your entry displayed on the crew list, your account has to be activated. After the registration a confirmation email was sent to your email address that includes a link to activate your account. Click on it and you’re done. If for some reason the link does not work for you, log in to your account and enter the activation key (which can also be found in the registration confirmation email).

5. How do I change my password and/or email address?

To change your email address and/or password log in to your account and select the "Account details" tab. There you will find a form that allows you to edit your user information. Please note that you have to reactivate your account after an email address update. This is done with the link that will be sent to the new email address.

6. I forgot my password. How do I get a new one?

Please proceed here to reset your password. Please note that you have to enter the email address that you used during the registration otherwise it does not work. If you can’t remember which email address you used or you don’t have access to it any more, please contact the webmaster. Please include at least your name and the name of your command.

Please contact the webmaster in order to have your login updated. Please include at least your name and the name of your command.

8. I accidentally entered a wrong date/name/division etc or made a double entry. How can this be corrected?

If you put in some incorrect information please log in to your account and edit it. In your account you can edit/delete ANYTHING. I regularly receive messages from people asking me to edit their entries or delete double entries. Please folks... I don’t have the time to correct typos or service dates, please do it yourself.

9. Where can I find my command’s crew list?

The quickest way to look for your command is the Command Search Engine. Just type in the name of your command and you will be shown a list of available commands. You can then select your command from the list.

You can also browse the available crew lists and select from the drop down menus.

10. I used the Command Search Engine but my command is not included.

If your command is not included in the database, please contact the webmaster to have it added.

11. How do I contact my shipmates?

To contact someone from the crew list, log in to your account and afterwards, simply click on someone’s name and you will be taken to a contact form. When you submit your message, the receiving person will receive a copy of your message in his crew list account inbox and will be informed by email about the new message.

12. How does the Buddy Notifier work and how can I use it?

If enabled, the Buddy Notifier will automatically send you an email whenever someone sets up an entry for one of your commands and your service dates are overlapping. To control your Buddy Notifier settings, log in to your account and click on the “Buddy Notifier” tab.

The first setting refers to your entries and if you decide to enable it, you will receive notifications for all of your commands. Additionally, you can also set up notifiers for commands for which you did not set up an own entry. Just type in the command’s name (and select it from the menu) and add the time frame you are interested in. You can set up a total of five of these additional Buddy Notifiers.
