USS Sentry (MCM 3)

USS SENTRY is the third AVENGER class Mine Countermeasures Ship. SENTRY is designated a reserve ship, and is only at full crew-member capacity when Selected Reservists are on board. USS SENTRY is the 1998 COMNAVSURFLANT Battle Efficiency Award winner for her class and was awarded the 1998 COMNAVSURFLANT Safety Award. In mid-2012, the SENTRY arrived at Manama, Bahrain aboard the MV TERN changing her homeport from San Diego to Bahrain.
