Originally placed in service as Floating Workshop YR 46, the barge was later redesignated YRBM 49 and is presently one of the Navy's non self-propelled Repair, Berthing and Messing Barges.

Delivered: November 26, 1943
Builder: Cramp Shipbuilding Philadelphia, Pa.
Length: 150 feet (45.7 meters)
Beam: 36 feet (11 meters)

Displacement: approx. 760 tons
Accommodations: 1 Officer, 40 Enlisted
Homeport: Pearl Harbor, Hi.
